Written by on June 2, 2021

Taylor Swift has joined GLAAD’s “Summer of Equality” campaign to urge the U.S. Senate to pass the Equality Act and ensure comprehensive protections against discrimination for every LGBTQ American. The pop star posted a message on Twitter announcing her partnership with the media advocacy organization and thanking the “courageous activists, advocates and allies for their dedication to fighting against discrimination and hatred.” Taylor Swift has been very outspoken with the support of the LGBTQ community, raising eye brows with her video for the single You Need to Calm Down, with appearances by Toddrick Hall, Ellen DeGeneres and Adam Lambert.
